My nephew wanted Bakugan Balls for his birthday. I actually tried to purchase these in the sporting goods store. Because, I had no idea what they actually were. That didn't work, and I realized I had to do some research to find out what Bakugan Balls actually were. Welcome to my world of Bakugan.

Bakugan is an anime cartoon about a boy named Dan. Who, together with his friends, invents a game, after mysterious trading cards start falling from the sky. These cards were falling all over the world, so they can play the game with others online as well.

Once they start playing with the cards they uncover the true power of the cards, each card contains it's own battling beast which comes to life when thrown down. So the game is called Bakugan. The game is played with cards and Bakugan balls which open up and reveal a battling beast when thrown down.

Each beast has different powers which are revealed on the cards. So you won't know who will win until the beasts and powers on the cards are revealed. Just like old fashioned marbles, who ever wins the battle gets to keep that Bakugan ball and the beast within.

In the Anime episode Dan discovers that an even bigger battle is taking place in a parallel universe called Vestroia There are six worlds in Vestroia and the Bakugan who hail from that world each have a special power associated with the world.

The first world is Aquos, characters from Aquos glide like water from one attack position to the other.

Ventus has fast and powerful hurricanes and the battlers from here are like a fast and powerful storm.

The world of Pyrus is the core of the universe and these brawlers are hot like the molten core of the Earth.

Subterr is a hard and cruel universe, and it's hardened brawlers have an unusual enthusiasm for battle.

Haos Balign has a mystic aura, and it's brawlers can manipulate light and energy.

The dark hemisphere is the home of Darkus Bakugan the master of night fighting. He loves to cause destruction and his strength grows in the shadows of the night.

The game has quite a few rules, so if you really want to play, you could always download the PDF online. But basic play consists of each player choosing 3 Bakugan, 3 gate cards, and 3 ability cards.

Each player places a gate card face down in front of their opponent. Then the players take turns rolling the Bakugan Balls onto the cards. If one of the balls lands on a card the metal strip in the card will activate a magnet in the ball, which will cause the ball to open and reveal the character within. When two balls land on the same card it is time for battle.

The winner of the battle is determined by the creatures g-power which can be found on the gate card. You also have the option of playing your ability card to increase your g-power. The player with the highest g-power wins.

There are some extra rules for ties and some exceptions, but this is the basic play, and it's not that hard to get going, just by following the instructions on the cards. So what makes this game interesting?

There are many different aspects to the game. There is competition, and collecting and strategy. There is even skill involved. In order to roll the balls onto the card, you need to learn to add the proper amount of spin. Oh, and there are also accessories, besides the collectible balls and cases, there are battle arenas, and even launchers you attach to your wrist to launch the balls instead of just rolling them.

This game has so many different aspects to it. that I can see why kids like it so much. In fact, after taking the time to learn the rules, it even sounds fun to me.

What Will the Hot Toys Be on eBay For the 2009 Holiday Season?

One year it was Webkinz. One year it was the Fisher Price Smart Cycle. Another year it was the Wii. What will be the hot toy on eBay this year, and how can you get it to sell and make a nice profit? That is the question on the mind of eBay toy sellers this time of year.

Some are predicting the Twilight Princess and Edward dolls will be popular. Those Zhu Zhu pets hamsters are causing quite a stir. Zhu Zhu pets are a robotic hamster that "learns" its way around your home, makes interesting sounds, drives cars, rides skateboards, and is basically all the fun of a regular hamster without the mess or the smell. Right now, Zhu Zhu pets sell at Toys R Us for $9.99, with a limit of 3. The website is already out of stock and it is only mid-October. The single Zhu Zhu pets are selling for about $20 on eBay. Most sellers are offering huge lots for the hamsters and the toy sets.

Wii, Playstation, and XBox games are always good sellers on eBay at holiday time. Guitar Hero was huge one year. The newest Wii game on the market right now is Sports Resort, but we expect something will be released closer to December.

The Bakugan battle is a game that has became popular among children. The game first became known from the famous Japanese Animation cartoon known as the Bakugan Battle Bawlers. The cartoon became popular among children and grew to have over 60 episodes. After the series of shows ended, there is now a version of that is called New Vistoria. In this series of the cartoon, the warrior characters fight with the evil Naga to protect the Earth and also to prevent Naga from taking the control of the universe and the ultimate power. The new series has been around for a couple of years and has a lot of children who enjoy watching the show.

There are new levels that are introduced that continue to add excitement to the children. The kids have the cards to play the Bakugan battle game, and they also have the new Bakugan balls. The game is played by throwing their cards down and then see where Bakugan balls hit the magnetic cards. The Bakugan G power card can be initiated with the help of the ability card. The monsters inside the Bakugan ball are released and the battle can be won by the Bakugan.

The new Bakugan balls have become a favorite of many kids who enjoy the show. Even younger children love Bakugan because of the Bakugan balls. The card can be transformed into a ball which can become a snake or dragon. The children can choose to play or act as Dan, who is considered to be the hero and who plays the central character of the show. He is always ready to take on new battles to win.

The Bakugan Battle Pack comes with the Bakugan balls and the gate cards. The balls are magnetic and are played when they are rolled on the metal gate card, the ball releases the bakugan to fight and win. There are different Bakugans that are found in different balls and used to battle with. This game is similar to the Pokeman game in the way it is played. The Bakugan is very small and be played easily. The starter pack consists of eight gate cards that are metallic and have the magnetic property. This magnetic property helps to release the warriors inside them.
