Bakugan Toys - What to Expect

It's official, Bakugan Battle Brawlers has landed in the UK. The hit television show is now being beamed into households up and down the UK and in a matter of weeks Bakugan toys will be available to children everywhere in Britain.

In case you don't know, the Bakugan game is a very similar concept to Pokemon in that players carry marbles that house creatures inside. When those marbles are deployed the creatures jump out and do battle to decide who wins. The only difference with Bakugan, is that this franchise has worked out a way to allow kids to play the game themselves, almost exactly as it is seen on screen.

The marbles are spring-loaded and thrown onto cards. When the marbles hit the cards, they spring open and reveal a value. If that value is greater than their opponents, they win the battle. This simple concept has carried Bakugan to great success in Japan before carrying on the momentum in Canada and the US. Now it is the turn of the UK to 'answer the call to Brawl'.

The big names behind this release (SEGA being one) have got the timing almost spot on, believing that an Autumn release of the show will boost sales of the toys just at the right time i.e. Christmas. It really won't surprise me if kids everywhere are hoping to wake up to find Bakugan toys sitting under the tree.

The products themselves can be purchased in different quantities ranging from a single marble and card to a set of 8 marbles with 8 different cards. The genius behind the idea, is that there are hundreds of different Bakugan toys meaning kids will want to collect as many as they possibly can. This will almost certainly generate huge amounts of profit for SEGA and co in the coming months, as the UK joins in the fun.
